#StillLearning

Author, illustrator, and Theirworld ambassador Nick Sharratt's #StillLearning poster

All over the world a billion school children are stuck at home. Families are going through the same challenges keeping children educated and entertained, so we want to share with you some fun and practical activities to do just that.

Are you at home with your young children because of the Coronavirus outbreak? Or do you have children in your extended family affected by school closures?

All over the world about a billion schoolchildren are stuck at home. Families are going through the same challenges keeping children educated and entertained, so we want to share with you some fun and practical activities to do just that.

Nick Sharratt, the brilliant children’s author and illustrator, and a Theirworld ambassador, has come up with a poster that children everywhere can complete.

Just follow Nick’s design: ask children to draw a self-portrait, add where they live or where they have been staying recently and two or three things they’ve been learning about during lockdown. It’s as easy as that.

Then we’d love you to share your child’s work on social media, with the #StillLearning and #Theirworld hashtags, so not only friends and family can see them, but children around the world.

In the coming weeks we’ll be sharing more playful #StillLearning activities, so stay tuned. And if you aren’t already a Theirworld follower, sign up here to stay in touch with all our campaigns about global education.
