Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala

Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is the seventh Director-General of the World Trade Organization and the first woman and first African to hold the role, beginning her second term in September 2025. She twice served as Nigeria’s Finance Minister, rose to Managing Director during a 25-year World Bank career, and is a former Chair of Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance.
