Right now, the ban on girls’ education in Afghanistan means over two million girls are out of school. And it’s putting a generation’s entire future at risk.
It’s not only jeopardizing their chance to learn. Girls are being denied a childhood, and the opportunity of becoming who they want to be.
The ban on education is a violation of universal human rights. It deprives girls of their aspirations and dreams, and puts them in danger if they ever attempt to learn. This is not OK.
