Today, more than 7 million refugee children are out of school. Forced to flee their homes due to conflict, disaster or persecution, many end up in places where education is not guaranteed.

This isn’t fair. Education is every child’s right and it’s vital for building a better future.

Providing refugee children with access to education not only supports them now, but opens doors to independence, safety and opportunity. Without it, they face greater risks of child labour, trafficking, early marriage and a lifetime of poverty.
