Share your vision for early years and connect with young education advocates

Theirworld Global Youth Ambassadors team are inviting young advocates to join them for an afternoon during the UNGA week.

We will be running two events on Sunday, 20th September 2026:

Act For Early Years Youth Consultation – 15:00-17:00 EDT

Sign up for an opportunity to share the future you want to see for every child in your community. This consultation, aimed at young people aged 18-30 years old, will be run by two Act For Early Years Youth Champions. This year, they are running consultations with young people in their communities about the future of early childhood development they want to see.

Insights collected in the consultation will inform the Youth Vision Statement, a document which will outline young people’s collective demands on what’s needed for the world’s youngest children. It will be presented to decision makers at the first ever Global Early Years Finance Summit in 2027.

Youth Social – 17:30-19:30 EDT

Join Global Youth Ambassadors and other education youth advocates at our informal social. During the event, you will get a chance to:

• Check out the display of The Education Issue, guided by the GYAs who took part in the project.
• Chat and connect with fellow education youth advocates who are also in New York for UNGA
• Pizza’s will be provided
