International Youth Day: promoting youth skills and early education
Early childhood development
Pavel Sarwar, one of Theirworld's network of Global Youth Ambassadors, tells what he is doing in his community.
I am running many impact-driven projects and organising career talks, coding sessions, celebrating different days, providing information, giving support, mentorship, consultation, training, meeting with government and non-government educational institutions to promote access to youth skills.
Especially for youths, I am focusing on ensuring technical skills development, easy access to TVET (technical and vocational education and training), innovation, entrepreneurship and eliminating gender disparity across the globe.
Through my activities, I am trying to ensure that all young people have access to good quality primary and lower secondary education. My initiative especially targets girls and young women from secondary schools and colleges who are interested in ICT and STEM.
I have also been campaigning in my community for a partnership to bring youths, school students, academicians, entrepreneurs, industry experts and government officials together under one platform to promote early years education.
I want to spread a very simple yet powerful message among the youth. Do what you love, inspire others and change the world. My dream includes a pledge that no one will be left behind.
