About the role
Theirworld is seeking a highly organised and proactive Studio Manager to join our Marketing and Communications team and manage our in-house design studio.
Our Creative Studio produces high-quality visual content that supports the charity’s campaigning, advocacy, fundraising and project work – including video, infographics, digital and social media assets, brand materials, marketing collateral and research reports.
The Studio Manager plays a critical role in keeping our production workflows smooth, managing timelines and deliverables, and coordinating communication with internal teams, freelancers and suppliers.
This is a great opportunity for someone with excellent coordination skills and a passion for creative project management to bring powerful ideas to life and make a difference on a global scale.
Main responsibilities
1. Design Studio Coordination
- Manage the design studio’s production schedule, balancing multiple deadlines and priorities across teams.
- Maintain and refine systems for tracking briefs, timelines, approvals, feedback, and asset delivery.
- Ensure all content meets brand standards and is delivered on time and to a high quality.
- Collaborate closely with all stakeholders to ensure workflow efficiency.
2. Freelancer and Supplier Management
- Help maintain and source a reliable network of freelance creatives (e.g., designers, animators, video editors, illustrators, copywriters) and production companies (e.g. event collateral, merchandise, display)
- Coordinate briefs, quotes, contracts and timelines for external creatives.
- Serve as the main point of contact for freelancers and suppliers, ensuring clarity on deliverables and deadlines.
3. Studio Operations
- Oversee organisation and maintenance of digital asset libraries.
- Ensure file management processes are followed, including naming conventions and archiving protocols.
- Track usage rights, version control, and asset storage across multiple campaigns and outputs.
- Stay up-to-date with tools and systems relevant to design and content production.
Experience, skills and character
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail. Experience with Monday.com is a bonus
- Confident juggling multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in a design, marketing, or communications environment (agency or in-house).
- Familiarity with creative production workflows
- Experience in briefing and coordinating freelance creatives.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a collaborative working style.
- A passion for global development, education and social impact is a plus.
Salary
Starting at £40,000 per year based on qualifications and experience.
