Digital Chronicles aims to change the education status quo to match the times. By developing the use of modern technology in the classroom, they aim to improve student outcomes and enhance individualized education. The overall goal of Digital Chronicles is to accelerate Digital Transformation in education by automating 60% of the processes by 2030 in East Africa.
To do this, Digital Chronicles are focusing on improving the quality of teaching and learning in rural communities using ICT at all levels and improving adult digital literacy levels in rural communities. Their main focus areas include:
- Bridging the digital adoption rate in the education sector between Urban and modern schools.
- Attracting young people to the teaching profession.
- Harnessing potential in learners and educators using digital tools.
- Making teaching and learning resources easily accessible in rural schools.
