Who we are
Founded 23 years ago and Chaired by Sarah Brown, Theirworld has grown to become a leading global children’s charity committed to the best start in life for children and young people by ending the education crisis and unleashing the potential of the next generation.
We are the charity that:

- Helped create Education Cannot Wait; the United Nations’ global, billion-dollar fund for education in emergencies
- Created The Jennifer Brown Research Laboratory investigating safe pregnancy and premature birth
- Set up the first-ever Youth Takeover of the UN
- Achieved the largest-ever education petition in history with 11 million signatures demanding that every child has the right to go to school
