Who we are

Founded 23 years ago and Chaired by Sarah Brown, Theirworld has grown to become a leading global children’s charity committed to the best start in life for children and young people by ending the education crisis and unleashing the potential of the next generation. We are the charity that:

  • Created double-shift schools; a project which led to more than 300,000 Syrian refugee children receiving education in Lebanon
  • Helped create Education Cannot Wait; the United Nations’ global, billion-dollar fund for education in emergencies
  • Created The Jennifer Brown Research Laboratory investigating safe pregnancy and premature birth
  • Set up the first-ever Youth Takeover of the UN
  • Achieved the largest-ever education petition in history with 11 million signatures demanding that every child has the right to go to school

Four-day-working-week and other benefits!

We believe in unlocking big change from a supportive and inclusive environment. This is why we now have an innovative four-day-working-week which sees all employees working Monday to Thursday with the office closed on most Fridays.

This is in addition to hybrid working with most staff taking at least one day a week based in the office.

Digital Marketing Assistant

As Theirworld grows as an organisation, we are seeking a Digital Marketing Assistant to support our increasing digital marketing needs.

Based in London, the primary focus of the position will be assisting the Head of Supporter Acquisition and Retention with a range of activities, from building engagements and lists in Salesforce CRM to sending out mailings via Marketing Cloud as well as setting up, running, optimising and tracking our paid digital ads across Google, Meta and TikTok.


Social Media Manager

As Theirworld nears the halfway point of an ambitious five-year strategy, we seek a Social Media Manager to oversee the continued growth of our brands’ social media channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, and Facebook).

The primary focus of the position will be working with our social content strategy to create regularly scheduled content that will help to reach the targets set in our five-year strategy — due 2028. This includes overseeing our brand advocacy work with social media influencers.
