Join in with EducationCountdown and change your profile, make a video or watch Malala live
The #EducationCountdown campaign kicks off on August 18 – and you can make your voice heard across the globe.
You can change your social media profile, made a video, watch our Google Hangout or watch Malala Yousfzai talk live with United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
We have 500 days to make good on a promise by world leaders in 2000 that every child would be in school and learning by 2015. Great progress has been made but 58 million children around the world are still being denied this basic right.
Every 100 days during the campaign, we will target more key barriers to education access. We’re bringing together top campaigners, youth, business, faith and political leaders.
And we need you! Can we count on you?
Here’s what you can do:
SIGN UP FOR THUNDERCLAP
To kick off the campaign on August 18, sign up for the Thunderclap and say that we can count on you to help drive progress to get every child into school and learning by the end of 2015. Sign up here.
CHANGE YOUR PROFILE
Change your profile or header photo on Twitter and Facebook by adding a Twibbon.
