“This International Women’s Day we can all stand #UpForSchool for the next generation of women”

“The world is calling for a safe education for all children”, writes Sarah Brown in The Huffington Post.

Sarah highlights the crises in education across the world over the last 12 months and calls on world leaders to recognise “that the current treacherous reality is robbing children of their future”. With International Women’s Day on Sunday 8 March, she writes that the event “gives us the chance to refocus the world’s attention on giving every girl their rightful place in school.”

With the #UpForSchool petition garnering over 3 million signatures so far, we will not let up our efforts until every child receives the quality education that they deserve.
