Digify Foundation
About
Digify Foundation trains young people across Africa with digital skills that are in demand to help them create sustainable livelihoods in the digital economy. To achieve their main aim of bridging the digital divide, they have set ambitious objectives including:
- Delivering internet safety training to at least 50,000 learners annually through mobile platforms.
- Enhancing the digital readiness of learners by providing comprehensive, interactive, and user-friendly digital
literacy content. - Cultivating a safe online environment for learners to explore the digital world by informing them about the best
practices in internet safety.
Digify Foundation’s projects include the Kitso bot – a WhatsApp-based interactive learning platform that addresses limited digital literacy and internet safety skills among young Africans. The bot offers self-paced education, multimedia resources (e.g. video), and personalised learning paths tailored by the system.
