About

The organization has been working with government and state educational institutions at conceptualizing and implementing the New Ukrainian school educational reform in Ukraine and Postwar Recovery & Development Plan.

The organization implements approaches aimed at (a) improving the qualifications of school educators through EdCamp format events, (b) supporting the Ukrainian education reform through advocating the New Ukrainian School, and (c) adapting and applying best international educational practices.

Their activities are framed by their co-authoring of the New Ukrainian School education reform and subsequent support of the reform implementation, including communication and promotion. Advocacy of creating policies on teachers’ professional development, integrity, non-discrimination, and social and emotional skills, as well as amending state curriculum and professional standards for educators and administrators.

EdCamp applies Social, Emotional and Ethical (SEE) Learning, a system that develops 24 different capabilities including systems thinking, social skills, compassion and body literacy. This is the first national-level ecosystem, in Ukrainian, for social and emotional skills in schools, fostering children’s resiliency amid the war.
