Tanzania Early Childhood Education and Care

TECEC’s Tuwaandae Pamoja initiative seeks to address the problem of limited access to quality early learning and early childcare in Tanzania, particularly in underserved communities.

They do this by implementing parent and caregivers’ education and support, supporting health and nutritious meals for pregnant women and their newborns, as well as affordable early learning and playing materials, internal re-design of the public preschool classroom and raising awareness in the community, to reduce stigma and improve access to early learning and care for children with disabilities.
