Our local to global model allows us to activate stakeholders from communities around the world to drive national and global change. Young campaigners at the heart of our activities, alongside a broad change network of changemakers ranging from business, civil society and international organisations to researchers, policymakers, delivery partners and entrepreneurs.

We spot the opportunities and use expert research and evidence to make the case for change. We run pilot projects to demonstrate how innovative ideas can be scaled up to make a big difference. Then we use our connections and know-how to bring together coalitions of people and organisations to rally behind unified campaigns and solutions that leaders cannot ignore.

Here’s what our global campaigns have achieved:

• Double-shift schools for Syrian refugees: We pioneered a model that allowed Syrian refugee children to be educated in Lebanon’s schools, with minimal investment and maximum impact.
• The first education in emergencies fund: Our campaigning led to the creation of the Education Cannot Wait fund, to ensure in crises like conflicts and disasters, education can continue.
• Global financing of education: We campaigned relentlessly for the creation of the International Finance Facility for Education to raise billions for low-and middle-income countries.
• Refugee education in Greece: We worked to improve education in refugee camps on the Greek islands and provided a blueprint for the government and the UN to ensure quality education for every refugee child.
• Early childhood development and learning: We lead a global movement called Act For Early Years that has put early childhood development front and centre on the education agenda.
• A global network of 10,000 youth advocates: Our past and present Global Youth Ambassadors have played pivotal roles in our campaigns.
