Annual Christmas Carol Concert supports the work of Theirworld
Supporters of Theirworld got in the festive spirit by singing along to classic carols in London, with donations helping our work with children across the world
The annual Carol Concert generously hosted by Reed Smith in support of Theirworld was held in London on 16th December.
We were joined by a great turnout of guests who got in the Christmas spirit by singing along to classic carols. There were powerful readings by former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, broadcaster Ashley John-Baptiste, author and Theirworld Advisory Board member Kathy Lette, education campaigner Shazia Ramzan, Theirworld Advisory Board member Tamara Box and Brigid North, partner at Reed Smith.
The service was held at St Botolph-without-Bishopsgate Church in the City of London and also featured performances by the Reed Smith choir and Polished Brass, who generously gave their time and talent.
Thank you to everyone who donated – we are thrilled to announce the Carol Concert has so far raised more than £3,000 to support our work.
Theirworld strives to ensure all children everywhere get the best start in life, have a safe place to learn and develop skills for the future to unleash the potential of the next generation. Our supporters’ generosity helped to amplify the message of hope and opportunity for children everywhere.
