RideLondon Success

We want to say a very big thank you to Konrad Caulkett, Sean Gumbleton, Jason Smith, Nick Faint and James Sanders who completed the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100, Sunday 10th August, for Theirworld. This 100 mile cycle ride through closed roads of London and Surrey saw an exhilarating finish on the Mall.

Over the past few months the team have been hard at work raising money for Theirworld whilst finding the time for the many long weekend training rides needed to build up to the final 100 mile challenge.

When Sunday came the Theirworld team defied the wind and rain that lashed southern England and took to the road in a fleet of colourful orange and white cycling jerseys. The ride itself started in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, followed a route through central London and out into Surrey, before winding back into London and finishing along the Mall in front of Buckingham Palace.

Among our fundraisers was Jason Smith who achieved an even more difficult challenge to fundraise for Theirworld. Jason completed 1000 miles between the 8th June and 10th August 2014 (100 miles a week) completing the 1000th mile at the finishing line of the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 mile bike ride.

Fundraising is still coming in for the Theirworld team and so far they have raised nearly £4000 altogether – so once again a big, big thank you to our team!
