‘She listened and encouraged me’ – Kenyan TV presenter Anne Kiguta speaks to A World at School

A World at School interviewed Anne Kiguta, Senior Anchor at Royal Media Services & Citizen TV, as part of their ‘My Inspirational Teacher’ series.

The series has seen celebrities and activists speaking to A World at School about their passion for education and the teacher that most inspired them.

Kiguta selected her History teacher, Mrs Wanyoike, as her biggest influence, saying she ‘listened to my contributions and encouraged me, making me even more interested in learning’ and made her feel ‘bright’ and ‘special’.
