PACE’s main purpose is to create equitable learning opportunities for students in informal &rural areas of Africa. Their programs work to simultaneously address two challenges that face their community;

• The lack of a meaningful social structure to engage local youth
• The inequity in Africa’s education systems

They seek to address the lack of a meaningful social structure to engage local youth through training 350 youth Fellows and placing them as teaching assistants across 117 Schools in Kenya and Malawi to undertake Teaching at the Right Level and help with marking books, tutorials and co-curricular activities. Through leveraging the skills, energy and creativity of the local youth, they aim to sustainably address the challenges that are present in Africa’s education system.
