Hearst Empowering Women online hub launch
A major new initiative by Hearst Magazines UK has today launched its website aimed at celebrating the lives, aspirations and achievements of British women.
As first announced in April, Hearst Empowering Women has chosen Theirworld as its official charity partner. The new online hub features inspirational content, events and advice on a huge range of issues affecting women. This new initiative is designed to encourage readers to be both informed and involved in supporting projects providing inspiration and mentoring to girls and women in the UK and around the world.
Sarah Brown says “Theirworld’s partnership with Hearst Empowering Women is very exciting and we look forward to working with magazines like ELLE and Good Housekeeping to get behind the campaigns and projects that let us all lead brighter lives. Around the UK, girls and women need to work together to share skills, mentoring relationships, and bring women’s voices together to create waves of confident change. Around the world, we can act to help other women in the poorest countries who deserve a better chance too.”
With 19 magazines and 26 websites, Hearst UK’s brands reach 1 in 3 UK women every month. Hearst Magazines UK CEO Anna Jones said “Empowerment to me means inspiring and guiding women to reach their full potential”.
