Niamh Deehan, #RewritingTheCode

As we launch our new #RewritingTheCode campaign this week, we’d like to look back on and congratulate Niamh Deehan for her conceptual groundwork for the campaign. Niam submitted the campaign to the D&AD New Blood Awards last year, and has seen her work come to fruition with the launch of our new Theirworld Code Clubs in Kibera, Kenya; and a brilliant response on social media.

D&AD New Blood Awards aims to reach young creatives from as far and wide as possible to offer inspiration, learning and genuine breaks on the way into industry.

Ben Hewitt, Director of Campaigns for Theirworld said “The inspiring idea put forward by Naimh over a year ago struck a chord with everyone involved. It had all the elements we were looking for in a new and innovative campaign to tackle the discriminatory embedded values holding girls back around the world every day. It was exciting to see Naimh at the launch of the campaign today as the whole concept came alive.”
