Fundacion Levapan

About

In some regions of Colombia, violence and social challenges can make it harder for children to learn and succeed at school.

Fundación Levapan’s SEE (Social, Emotional and Ethical) Learning programme helps schools support students’ mental health and wellbeing while reducing the risk of children dropping out of education. It does this by training teachers, supporting school leaders and embedding social and emotional learning across the curriculum.

The programme helps young people develop empathy, resilience and a deeper understanding of how their actions affect the people and communities around them. It also gives teachers practical tools to support their own wellbeing and create positive learning environments.

By supporting both students and teachers, SEE Learning is helping schools become safer, more inclusive places where children can learn and thrive.
