Global Youth Ambassadors
We are training the next generation of leaders who want to be at the centre of shaping the future of education in their community.
Our projects, campaigns and activities are active in 140 countries around the world ensuring all children have the best start in life, a safe place to learn, and skills for the future.
Because sustainable change happens in communities and is built through trust and partnership, we work with more than 80 organisations – from the United Kingdom and the United States to Africa, the Americas, the Middle East, Asia and Europe – with 90% of our projects are led by local community partners.
Here is an overview of our programmes and activities. You can search the index of all our projects by country below.

Our campaigns have helped countless children have access to a quality education. Our current Act For Early Years campaign aims to have every child start school ready to learn.
Each year, we help non-profit organisations scale-up innovative pilot projects, improving their quality and reach, by providing expertise, coaching, masterclasses and seed investment.
We support charities and non-profits helping disadvantaged and overlooked young people in the UK and around the world with small grants to increase access to education and health programmes.
Since 2004, the research laboratory works to improve understanding of what causes early labour, how we can develop treatments to prevent it and how we can better help newborn babies in the first crucial hours and days after birth.
When war, disaster and climate change threaten to close classrooms, we keep children in education in Ukraine and across the Middle East in Gaza, Israel and Lebanon.
Girls and young women in many parts of the world miss out on school every day. Every child has a right to learn, no matter where they are born. Educating girls saves lives and builds stronger families, communities and economies.
Our team helps businesses from around the world do more to support education. Our Global Business Coalition for Education leverages the collective power of the business community to improve access and quality of education.
